Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort and organize inventory in designated areas of the warehouse.
- Pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Operate various warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, with proper certification and training.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Properly use required PPE at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and scanning.
- Support loading of outbound trucks, ensuring efficient use of space and weight distribution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles and warehouse procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety guidelines, including wearing PPE.
- Must possess a strong sense of responsibility and time management skills.
