Are you a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll be working with a diverse range of products, utilizing advanced scanning technology to fulfill orders efficiently. This position requires a blend of speed, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner and order lists.
- Pack picked items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper labeling of shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity targets.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in logistics and fulfillment operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the shift supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and bend.
- Capability of lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety regulations, including wearing required PPE.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork within the logistics chain.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
