Job Summary:
Are you a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll be working with a diverse range of products, utilizing advanced scanning technology to fulfill orders efficiently. This position requires a blend of speed, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner and order lists.
  • Pack picked items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
  • Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper labeling of shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team productivity targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in logistics and fulfillment operations.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the shift supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and bend.
  • Capability of lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and safety regulations, including wearing required PPE.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork within the logistics chain.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
