Our rapidly expanding logistics company is seeking dedicated Picker/Packers for our Indianapolis, Indiana distribution center. This position is essential to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse using RF scanners, meticulously verifying product details, and then expertly packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Inspect all items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, adhering to shipping guidelines.
- Verify order contents against documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong adherence to Safety practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
