You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and stocking inventory, as well as preparing outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling. A strong understanding of logistics and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet daily targets. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent organizational skills, and is capable of performing physical tasks, including frequent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Accurately stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Label packages correctly and arrange them for carrier pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational status.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a general warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Dedication to workplace Safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
