Job Summary:
Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials safely and efficiently. Your expertise is vital to maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations, from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished goods. Adherence to strict safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is paramount. You will also be responsible for performing routine inspections of your equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position demands a high level of focus, precision, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse to designated storage or staging areas.
  • Stack and retrieve inventory accurately.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational checks and maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
  • Ensure efficient workflow in the shipping and receiving areas.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
