Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual looking for a role in a fast-paced warehouse? We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Minneapolis, Minnesota! In this position, you will be responsible for accurately picking items to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are paramount to ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics department. You'll work with a team to meet daily order fulfillment goals, utilizing warehouse equipment and adhering to safety protocols. This role is crucial for ensuring our products reach customers in perfect condition and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to locate and verify items.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and immediate area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal productivity and accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Capable of Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all protocols.
