Are you a proven leader in warehouse operations? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage our bustling facility in Orlando, Florida. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage and mentor warehouse staff, and ensure the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. This role demands strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management best practices. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety procedures, optimizing workflow, and driving productivity to meet company goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, decisive, and committed to fostering a positive and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, train, and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve performance targets.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse workflows and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing control measures as needed.
- Optimize space utilization within the warehouse.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and implement operational improvements. Demonstrated commitment to safety and familiarity with all relevant regulations. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. This leadership position is key to our company's overall logistics success.
