We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with strong experience in Java or Kotlin to join a high-impact engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend services that power key systems. This role requires strong backend fundamentals, hands-on microservices development experience, and a passion for delivering robust solutions in a collaborative environment. Scope of Work
Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot-based microservices with RESTful APIs and database integrations. Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability and maintainability. Enhance observability and monitoring of microservices for performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers to understand business needs and translate them into scalable backend solutions. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and advocate for software development best practices across the team. Qualifications
Proficiency in Kotlin or Java with a strong understanding of backend development. Proven experience designing scalable, performant, and observable backend systems. Solid knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and working with both relational and non-relational databases. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for backend systems. Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes for cloud-native application development and deployment. Strong grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices: version control, build processes, CI/CD, testing, and deployment. Ability to work across ambiguous requirements and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have
Experience working in agile and distributed teams. Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
