About
Our logistics facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records. Your duties will include performing regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded in our system. This position plays a vital part in optimizing our warehouse operations and ensuring that we have the right stock available when needed. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and experience with WMS is highly desirable. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to adhere to all safety procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily focused on data management and organization, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. We are seeking a reliable, accurate, and organized individual who can contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Accurately enter inventory data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Process inventory adjustments as needed.
- Assist in organizing warehouse stock and ensuring proper storage.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Generate inventory reports as requested by management.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or WMS.
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
