We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. Your primary duties will involve receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing goods for shipment. You'll work collaboratively with other team members to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, pay close attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. We emphasize safety above all else, and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety shoes and vests. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and wearing required PPE.
