Join our vibrant warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Picker/Packer! This dynamic role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for locating items within our inventory, carefully picking them, and then expertly packaging them for safe delivery. Success in this position requires a sharp eye for detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work at a brisk pace. This position involves significant amounts of Lifting and requires a focus on warehouse Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your contribution is vital to our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure correct destination information.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and understand product codes and order details.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices is preferred.
- Must be able to perform frequent manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and Safety requirements.
