We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. This includes, but is not limited to, unloading incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outgoing delivery. We emphasize the importance of safety protocols and provide all necessary training and PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations and overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Knowledge of proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
