About
We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in the smooth operation of our warehouse by coordinating various activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that operations run efficiently and effectively, supporting our overall logistics objectives. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A commitment to Safety and efficient workflow is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and accessibility.
- Assist in training and supervising warehouse staff on procedures and Safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with carriers for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Identify and report any operational issues or inefficiencies to management.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a coordination or supervisory role is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
