We are hiring enthusiastic and reliable Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be integral to our logistics operations, performing a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are key. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all associates to strictly follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring efficient organization.
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order requirements using RF scanners.
- Pack orders carefully and securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and independently when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
