About
Our dynamic logistics center in Nashville, Tennessee, is looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items to fulfill customer orders and then preparing them for shipment. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety are key to success in this position. You will work in a fast-paced environment, playing a critical part in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using order sheets, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as restocking or inventory checks.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing goals.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs when required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and correct lifting techniques.
- Must wear and properly use required PPE.
