We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in Sacramento, California. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, accurately stocking shelves, picking items for outgoing orders, and preparing them for shipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for everyone. Our logistics operations rely on the diligence and hard work of our associates. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and you will be provided with training on proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort and place incoming inventory on appropriate shelves, racks, or bins.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely into boxes or containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting is advantageous.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and wearing PPE.
