Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight efficiently and safely.
- Accurately store and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring order accuracy and quality.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with appropriate certification and training.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Prepare goods for shipment and assist with loading trucks.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
