Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all materials.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any issues.
- Handle lifting of heavy items, often exceeding 50 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse logistics and smooth material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor consistently.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and experience with PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
