About
Solvent Funding has created a *new internal division focused on AI-powered lead generation*.
We’ve already built and deployed an *AI-driven calling and initiation system* that is actively being used in production today—and it works. We have *proof of concept, revenue impact, and strong momentum*. Now we need the right Infrastructure Engineer to help *expand, optimize, harden, and scale* this system into a product that can ultimately be *sold externally*.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be stepping into a system that’s live and valuable, then *owning the next phase of its evolution*—scaling it, improving reliability and performance, and helping turn it into a real platform.
AI experience is a *major plus and increasingly required* for this role.
What You’ll Do
* *Scale and evolve existing infrastructure:* Take a working AI-driven lead generation system and expand it to handle significantly higher volume and complexity.
* *Design distributed architecture:* Build and optimize Kubernetes-based systems that support high-volume, real-time voice and data processing with strict latency and uptime requirements.
* *Develop and support ML infrastructure:* Improve pipelines for training, serving, monitoring, and scaling AI models across environments.
* *Integrate telephony systems:* Manage and optimize integrations with SIP trunks, VoIP providers, and enterprise phone systems.
* *Own reliability and performance:* Implement observability, alerting, and incident response to deliver enterprise-grade uptime.
* *Prepare the system for sale:* Help transform an internal tool into a scalable, secure, and repeatable product offering.
* *Security and compliance:* Apply best practices for cloud security, data privacy, and regulated-use environments.
* *Solve hybrid problems:* Work at the intersection of traditional telecom, real-time streaming, and modern AI systems.
Key Problems You’ll Own
* *From internal tool to product:* Hardening and scaling a working system so it can be sold externally.
* *High-concurrency AI calling:* Managing and routing large volumes of simultaneous AI-driven phone calls.
* *Low-latency streaming:* Maintaining real-time voice and data streaming across distributed infrastructure.
* *Old meets new:* Blending legacy telephony protocols with modern AI and cloud-native systems.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
* *3+ years of experience* building and scaling distributed systems on AWS or GCP.
* Strong understanding of *networking fundamentals* (TLS, load balancing, streaming systems).
* Experience with *real-time, high-throughput, low-latency systems*.
* *AI familiarity:* You’ve worked with ML systems, model serving, inference pipelines, or GPU workloads—or you’re excited to go deep here.
* *Startup mindset:* You take ownership, move fast, and solve problems without waiting to be told what to do.
* Collaborative, opinionated, and pragmatic—you care about building things that actually work.
* Hands-on experience with tools such as:
* Go, Python, TypeScript
* Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
* Cloudflare, HAProxy
* Datadog or similar observability tools
* Nvidia GPUs or GPU-based workloads
Bonus Points
* Experience with *SIP, VoIP, WebRTC*, or telecom systems.
* Background in *ML infrastructure*, model deployment, or AI inference at scale.
* Experience with *real-time audio or video streaming*.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
