Mechanical Design Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Solidworks, CAD, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics
- Design and engineer products to uphold company best practices - Ensure that new product designs and any cost reduction designs achieve the target cost price, required launch date, and meet and legislative criteria - Maintain and create BOM, a product specification, and maintain the company ERP system - Remain involved in whole lifecycle of a product: liaise with quality department through design process, support production teams during manufacture potentially training assembly operatives, and speak to suppliers/customers where necessary
Mechanical Design Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Solidworks, CAD, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics
- A mechanical engineering qualification - Minimum of one years' experience, post University, of 3D modelling (SolidWorks preferred) - Working knowledge of ERP systems preferred
