Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Provide various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Offer excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their experience.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support holistic patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in massage therapy and wellness practices.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient service and assessment.
• Knowledge of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, pain management, and occupational health practices is essential.
• Familiarity with anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology is required.
• Previous experience in a med spa environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
