About the Role:
The Warehouse Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all products are handled safely and in compliance with company policies. The Warehouse Worker will collaborate closely with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets, contributing to overall supply chain effectiveness. This role demands physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Ultimately, the Warehouse Worker supports the seamless flow of goods, which is essential for meeting customer demands and maintaining business continuity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and data entry.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
