OTR Owner Operators Needed

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates with experience in route driving, load & unload operations, and commercial driving are encouraged to apply. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and familiarity with manual transmission are required to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Load and unload freight efficiently at various delivery locations, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver freight on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck type (e.g., tanker, flatbed).
• Experience in driving a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
• Proficiency in manual transmission driving preferred.
• Prior experience with freight delivery, route driving, load & unload operations, and commercial driving regulations.
• Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when required.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to truck operation and cargo handling.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4, $8,000.00 per week
