Speech Language Pathologist

About
Conduct thorough clinical evaluations tailored to patient diagnoses.
Develop individualized treatment plans with functional, measurable goals.
Deliver effective therapy interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, prognosis, and home exercises.
Monitor for adverse responses and modify treatment accordingly.
Plan and execute timely discharges with appropriate recommendations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing.
Participate in team meetings, staffing's, and family conferences.
Collaborate with other professionals and make referrals as needed.
Provide guidance to rehab techs, volunteers, and students.
Support departmental initiatives including CARF, JCAHO, and performance improvement.
Attend and contribute to in-services and maintain required competencies.
Education:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications:
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Indiana
Current CPR certification
Experience:
Preferred: Clinical experience in a Speech Therapy setting
Acceptable: New graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Strong verbal and written communication
Flexibility with treatment loads and schedules
Initiative, judgment, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to engage patients and families in therapeutic processes
