Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, independent, and decisive Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations. This role oversees a full team across all functions—receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory. The ideal candidate requires a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics, warehouse scanning systems, and a deep understanding of both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) distribution models.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of a high-volume warehouse handling both D2C orders (1–2 items) and B2B retail shipments.
- Oversee receiving and unloading of ocean containers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory using scanning systems and Microsoft D365
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency
- Audit inventory regularly and recommend restock levels based on SKU performance
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and accuracy
- Develop and track KPIs to monitor performance and improve workflows
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, customer route guides, and company SOPs
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, train, and lead warehouse staff; conduct performance evaluations and establish development goals
- Foster a positive and accountable team environment through regular communication and hands-on leadership
- Resolve personnel issues in line with company policy
Systems & Technology
- Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other WMS tools to manage inventory, orders, and logistics
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across all warehouse systems
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure orders are processed and shipped on schedule
Strategic & Financial Planning
- Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term operational strategy and cost control
- Manage the warehouse budget, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience, including D2C and B2B operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and inventory scanning/barcoding systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to implement process improvements in high-output environments
Preferred:
- Experience managing large-scale warehouse (100,000+ sq. ft.)
- Supply chain/logistics certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP)
- Familiarity with lean principles or Six Sigma certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
