DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will be capable of diagnosing problems and developing and implementing solutions in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). And will effectively understand relevant business processes and model them internally, as well as perform highly complex tasks dealing with the analysis and design of solutions serving both the business line and functional units to support the business needs of ArcelorMittal Calvert.

THE BASICS

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science, or combination of post-secondary education and related experience required
  • 5+ years minimum experience in SAP configuration and/or implementation
  • Detailed understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution is required
  • Familiarity with S4/HANA architecture necessary
  • Involved with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP
  • Should have demonstrated knowledge about manufacturing processes in a steel producer/processor industry or similar manufacturing environment
  • Project management skills needed (i.e. project plan development and tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics development and tracking)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

  • Knowledge of SAP maintenance tools beneficial

  • Provide necessary coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with representatives of business line and functional units
  • Provide guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials
  • Provide day-to-day user support, as well as drive improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions

  • Office setting
  • Position is local; may be provided hybrid/work from home options
  • Gulf coast region in Calvert, Alabama
  • Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads
