Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and standards
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity using various decorating techniques and tools
• Package finished products attractively for retail display or catering orders
• Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients with attention to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Handle food products safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Support catering events by preparing specialty items and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality baked goods

Experience

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food production or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and baking methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling of perishable ingredients
• Previous experience working in a restaurant, catering service, or food industry environment preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
• Culinary experience that showcases creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
