Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline front desk operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and check them in/out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications with attention to detail
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Assist with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
- Support guest relations by resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle night audit procedures is a plus
- Previous hotel experience or resort background is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights if necessary
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reservations management
Pay: $ $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
