Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company goals to maximize value and efficiency.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead sourcing initiatives by identifying reliable suppliers, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Oversee supplier management activities including performance evaluations, relationship building, and resolving supply issues swiftly.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations, inventory control, and timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor procurement metrics like pricing trends, lead times, and contract compliance to continuously improve processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on contract negotiations, vendor management, and procurement planning to support business growth.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POs and price quotes
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, logistics, and vendor relations.
• Proven ability in sourcing, contract negotiation, and contract management to secure optimal terms.
• Expertise in procurement processes related to manufacturing environments and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with a strategic mindset to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast needs accurately.
• Ability to analyze pricing trends, develop sourcing strategies, and optimize procurement workflows for maximum efficiency.
