ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're hiring our first Phone Sales Agent to join amp You'll be on the front lines of growth—making mostly outbound calls and following up over chat to convert leads into customers. This is a foundational role with tons of room to grow: as we scale, you'll help shape our sales playbook, messaging, and processes, with a clear path into senior sales, team lead, or sales ops roles.

You'll be the first voice many customers hear, so you'll play a huge part in creating a standout customer experience while hitting ambitious sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound interest via chat (SMS/WhatsApp/site chat/DMs) and convert quickly
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to new and warm leads daily
  • Qualify prospects, understand their goals, and identify the right fit
  • Deliver a clear, confident pitch tailored to the customer's needs
  • Handle objections with empathy and strong product knowledge
  • Follow up consistently across phone and chat to close deals
  • Track activity, outcomes, and pipeline updates in our CRM
  • Share feedback from calls/chats to improve scripts, offers, and lead quality
  • Help build and refine our sales systems as the first agent on the team

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 1–3+ years of phone sales experience (outbound-heavy preferred)
  • Confident, persuasive communicator who can build rapport fast
  • Comfortable working in a high-activity, results-driven environment
  • Strong at objection handling and closing
  • Organized with follow-ups and tracking details in a CRM
  • Scrappy, self-starter energy—you don't need a big team to perform
  • Excited about joining early at a fast-growing startup and growing with it
  • Fluent in English (conversational, reading, writing) — required
  • Fitness/wellness interest is a plus, but not required

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • Consistently hitting outbound call targets and weekly/monthly sales goals
  • Fast lead response times on chat and strong conversion rates
  • Clean, reliable CRM notes and pipeline management
  • Bringing ideas that make the sales process better every week
