Outside Sales Representative (Chillicothe, OH):

Mighty Automotive Parts of Southern Ohio is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to handle all aspects of promoting and selling Mighty Auto Parts, products, and related services for the automotive and trucking industry. The right candidate will take on these responsibilities while maintaining strong customer relationships and leveraging quality products to grow customers within our protected territory.

Our automotive franchises – consisting of individual business owners, tire dealers, quick service specialists, car dealerships, and automotive-related distributors – operate specialty wholesale distribution warehouses in exclusive, protected territories.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and building long-term business relationships with both new and existing accounts at the local, regional and national levels
• Utilize strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills while working with customers and other Mighty Auto Parts representatives.
• Developing and maintaining a detailed knowledge of products and services.
• Evaluating customer needs and making recommendations.
• Assist with a variety of duties such as attending to customers, maintaining inventory, deliveries, and other duties as required.

Travel:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel within, or outside, the area
• Travel up to 80% of the time

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 2+ years in outside sales, preferably in the automotive industry
• Thorough automotive/truck parts product knowledge
• Strong work ethic and organization
• Ability to work Independently and within a team environment
• Time management skills
• Ability to lift objects weighing 5-50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying climates
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record
