Position Overview

As an Associate Manager based in Plano, TX, you'll lead full-cycle accounting activities—from journal entries to financial reporting. You'll also be a key player in driving process improvements and system upgrades. We're looking for people who are flexible, adaptable, and bring a "let's figure it out" approach to the table.

You'll make an impact by

  • Preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness as part of our month and quarter-end close activities.
  • Applying your technical accounting expertise to evaluate and interpret complex financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and compliance with GAAP and Siemens' internal accounting standards.
  • Leading efforts to standardize global processes, enhance system efficiency, and strengthen our governance framework to meet both group and local reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the rollout of our new SAP ERP system (S/4Hana), including user acceptance testing and data migration.
  • Collaborating with finance and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality accounting guidance that enables informed decision-making and drives operational success.

You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role and solid accounting knowledge. Experience in tech companies and/or public accounting will be helpful.
  • Proven experience with financial close and reporting systems (NetSuite, SAP).
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with our finance and business teams in the office for 2-3 days per week.

The pay range for this position is $102,500 - $184,500 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
