Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during shipping.
- Carefully pack items into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Seal and label packages accurately for shipment.
- Verify order details and quantities before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as stocking or cycle counting, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets accurately.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capacity to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE in logistics.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to punctuality.
