We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our busy logistics hub in Richmond, Virginia! This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, including loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, organizing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You will be a vital part of our team, supporting various warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, and committed to upholding strict safety standards. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a significant advantage. We provide comprehensive training on all equipment and safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. Key responsibilities include: Safely loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments; Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment; Transporting materials to designated storage areas or production lines; Organizing and staging inventory for efficient access; Performing regular equipment checks and maintaining a clean workspace; Adhering to all company safety policies and industry regulations; Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliation.
