We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our growing team at our Miami, Florida warehouse. This position is vital for maintaining the flow of materials throughout our facility, ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and prepared for distribution. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, organized, and committed to upholding high standards of safety and operational efficiency in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and equipment.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory accuracy.
- Pick and stage materials for internal use or outgoing shipments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Report any damages, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Support team members and contribute to overall warehouse productivity.
- Assist with general housekeeping and organization tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety protocols.
