Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our operations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is crucial for managing the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that production and shipping lines have the necessary components. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing a wide range of products and materials, playing a key role in our overall Logistics and supply chain efficiency. A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring all tasks are performed according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Accurately record inventory movements using the warehouse management system.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and placement.
  • Assemble, package, and prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and operating equipment within designated areas.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to team success.
  • Support production by ensuring timely delivery of necessary components.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting consistently, up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
  • Commitment to upholding stringent Safety standards and proper use of PPE .
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts if needed.
