We are looking for a Senior HRIS Project Manager for one of our client.
*Position Summary*
The HRIS Project Manager leads the implementation and management of global HR systems and HR modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering moderate to high-risk HR projects, with a primary focus on large HR transformation programs. The HRIS Project Manager uses standard project management practices to lead project teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
The role works independently and reports to the HR Transformation Leader. It partners closely with HR functional teams and system vendors to plan and execute HRIS projects. The ideal candidate understands HR processes, applies practical project management methods, and builds strong working relationships to support successful project delivery.
*Overall Responsibilities*
Plan and manage projects from start to finish using approved project management standards, processes, and tools.
Track and report project status, including scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, issues, and overall outcomes. Act as the main contact for project updates and escalations to leadership and stakeholders.
Create and manage detailed project schedules, identify risks and roadblocks, and put mitigation plans in place.
Manage project budgets, explain variances, and suggest improvements when needed.
Prepare for and participate in project reviews, including updating project documentation, creating leadership presentations, and communicating project status.
Manage clear and consistent project communication through status reports and other updates as required.
Lead end-to-end HRIS projects and support related sub-projects within larger HR initiatives.

Lead HRIS implementation and modernization projects from start to finish.
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
Coordinate internal teams and manage external vendors.

Oversee HR system setup, integrations, and data migration activities.
Ensure systems meet data security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
*Stakeholder Engagement*
Lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders throughout the project.
Share project updates and progress with all relevant groups.
*Required Skills and Qualifications*
Good understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Experience with HRIS implementations or system migrations. Experience with platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM Cloud, or UKG is a plus.
Knowledge of global HR systems and country-specific compliance needs.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
PMP certification preferred
8 to 10 years of experience in HRIS or a related area, managing moderately complex projects
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Visio
Experience using MS Project or similar project tracking tools
Good knowledge of project scheduling methods such as WBS and Gantt charts
Experience with Agile tools like Jira and project portfolio tools such as EPM, Clarity, or Planview
