In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to customers within your region and proactively generate new projects that drive future growth. Your ability to build trust, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions will be key to strengthening our market position and driving sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales activities, achieve revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfactionAcquire new projects and customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing accountsNegotiate prices and conclude frame and supply agreementsDefine and implement sales strategies for European customersFollow up on all customer requests, including quotations, claims, audits, quality inquiries, and delivery timesProvide technical support and consulting to customers, including internal and external training sessionsCollaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, and production sites to translate customer needs into new projectsSupport sampling, validation, and qualification of new products and systemsWork closely with Customer Service, Key Account Management, and other internal stakeholdersMonitor market trends and competitor activitiesManage customer projects in coordination with internal teamsRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, or a related technical fieldBasic knowledge of electrical insulation materials; advanced experience highly beneficialStrong interest in technical sales and customer relationship managementCompetency in CRM, SAP, and MS OfficeExcellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills in German and EnglishProven ability to initiate, establish, and nurture business relationships in a complex environmentCustomer-oriented approach with a strong sense of responsibilityConsultative sales and business development mindsetAbility to work independently and manage complex projects with long sales cyclesWillingness to travel across Europe (up to 50%)Our PlusYou can count on ALTANA - by joining the ALTANA Group, you will be working in an organization with a unique culture of innovation which encourages individual ideas and talent, and promotes open, trusted collaboration.
