Responsibilities:
- Move, convey, and transport materials within the warehouse using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth material flow.
- Operate machinery for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification for operating forklifts or other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of items up to 75 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Understanding of Logistics and supply chain processes.
- Must wear mandated PPE.
