About
We are looking for dedicated Material Handlers to join our bustling warehouse facility in San Antonio, Texas. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of goods throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. As a Material Handler, you will be a key part of our logistics operations, contributing to order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. We expect all team members to be proactive and work collaboratively to meet operational goals. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements and order sheets.
- Pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are secure and properly labeled.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety and PPE guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Must wear required PPE at all times.
