About
We are actively hiring for a Picker/Packer position at our San Francisco, California facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for retrieving items from our warehouse inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment. A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to meeting daily targets and maintaining the integrity of our product fulfillment process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from various warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies before proceeding to packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Pack items efficiently and securely, ensuring all order components are included.
- Apply shipping labels correctly and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to warehouse standards.
- Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Communicate any issues with inventory or orders to the supervisor promptly.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure the smooth flow of logistics.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
