Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to upholding our high standards of safety and efficiency. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A good understanding of general logistics principles is beneficial. Safety is a top priority; all associates are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support overall logistics operations and contribute to a productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and order information.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
