A leading logistics company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies to optimize space and workflow.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by team members, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
- Train and mentor new and existing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
- Monitor productivity and implement measures to enhance performance.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational activities.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all lifting and material handling activities comply with regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required. Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills. Knowledge of inventory management and logistics best practices. Ability to enforce safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage. Must be adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
