This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products throughout the facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of essential tasks, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. You will be working in a high-volume environment, requiring speed, accuracy, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include using RF scanners to locate and retrieve items, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining organized storage areas. This position involves significant physical activity, such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, and frequent lifting of products up to 50 pounds. We are deeply committed to safety ; all associates must strictly follow all safety guidelines, wear the required PPE at all times, and contribute to a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision using RF scanners.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the distribution center.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE correctly.
- Contribute to achieving daily productivity and performance goals.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions.
- Perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Capability for frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics .
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
