Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers with precision.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Current Forklift Operator certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to perform occasional moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and manual dexterity.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
