Paul Davis of Niagara Haldimand is seeking a Mitigation Manager to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality and efficient services, performing thorough and complete work to help the job progression in multiple capacities. Additionally, the Mitigation Manager will comply with established policies and procedures at company and department levels.
Often the job sites will be dirty, possibly hot or cold, wet and sometimes unsanitary.
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Supervision of all Mitigation Technicians to ensure timely response, completion and customer satisfaction; liaison to General Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity.
- Auditing of response times to job completion and determine any additional instruction, training needed of Mitigation Technicians
- Auditing of technician certification to ensure compliance with Program work.
- Auditing of job work completed, chemical/product and equipment use to determine any leakage and proper use of equipment to improve profitability; reporting to General Manager
- Dealing with customers contents etc uploading documents to the adjuster.
- Schedule and hold meetings with Mitigation Technicians; trains and supervises Mitigation Technicians on better business practices, identifying business opportunities, and strategy.
- Maintains relationship with Project Managers and communicates with updates as needed.
- Monitor and address any safety issues and safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.
- Continuous analysis to ensure compliance with all Paul Davis processes, policies, better business practices, and in accordance with the laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which Paul Davis operates.
- Auditing of any customer service complaints; counseling of Mitigation Technicians; direct contact with customers as needed; communication in courteous, professional, and informative manner.
- Ensure Quality Metrics (SLAs) are documented, and minimum insurance carrier expectations are maintained

IICRC CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Currently hold or previously held the following certifications for a period of a minimum of 2 years:
- Water Restoration Technician
- ASD
- Applied Microbial Remediation
- Fire & Smoke Technician
Preferred:
- 2 years leading a team of 4 or more direct reports in a restoration environment
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's degree or other equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in WRT, ASD.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: Valid Driver's License. Must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Copy of driving history issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles at time of application.
EXAMPLES OF ASSIGNED WORK AREAS: Strength: Medium/heavy - exert force lbs. frequently or lbs. constantly. May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull
Physical Demands: Occasional climbing, balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, handling, fingering, smelling and hearing. Vision: frequent near and far acuity, depth perception and color vision.
Environmental Conditions: Climate controlled home/office and other settings. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud and from occasional to frequent time periods. Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
Qualification Standards: Applicants may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been dishonest as it relates to experience, convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary, or similar convictions.
