About the Role
Join Scripps as Director, Payer Analytics, where you will be responsible for all payer negotiations on behalf of Scripps Health. Utilizing Strata's Axiom platform to review and model our contracts, this role is ideal for a dynamic individual to lead this work and develop models to achieve optimal results for the system.
You will participate in establishing and ensuring achievement of the organization's strategic objectives and lead strategic efforts in assigned areas. Provide essential functional expertise to support department directors, managers, and the executive team. Oversee the budget for your areas, direct standards of practice, and lead process improvement activities. Manage staffing matrices with authority to hire, evaluate performance, and discipline employees. Also, oversee policy and procedure development to support service delivery.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
Five (5) years of management experience in managed care or health plan analytics, including two (2) years in health plan market research.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Master's degree in business or healthcare administration or related field.
Experience with Strata contracting application.
Demonstrated experience with complex payer models, including FFS and value-based arrangements.
Experience with Axiom is strongly preferred.
