As an Associate Risk Data Scientist, youll play a foundational role in supporting the team’s mission to identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks crucial to our continued growth. What youll do: • Develop and deploy machine learning models to detect fraud, model transaction risk, and improve credit underwriting. • Analyze and monitor credit portfolios to minimize losses. • Design experiments to evaluate the impact of data science solutions on user experience. • Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business partners and executives. • Proactively identify and address process pain points, providing sustainable and impactful solutions. We’d love to chat if you have: • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or the Physical Sciences. • Experience in data analysis and statistical modeling using tools like Python and SQL. • Understanding of a wide range of machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, classification, regression, neural networks, anomaly detection) and their application to business problems. • Ability to navigate ambiguity and guide projects toward clear, actionable business outcomes. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • PLUS: Experience applying data science and analytics to solve risk-related problems.
