We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing RF scanners and operating equipment to navigate the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order details.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and PPE.
- Meet performance expectations for pick rates and accuracy.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must wear provided PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
