We are seeking enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our logistics hub in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail will ensure that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities include reading order forms, locating products, picking items, and carefully packing them to prevent damage during transit. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, as is adhering to all Safety guidelines and wearing the appropriate PPE. This position requires physical stamina for prolonged standing and movement, as well as the ability to perform moderate Lifting. - Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages for shipment correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures and policies.
- Wear all required PPE while performing duties.
- Report any order discrepancies or equipment issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capacity for moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs) and performing tasks requiring physical dexterity.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and using PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
